Paris Hilton has undergone at least eight rounds of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) as part of her journey to become a mother. The process began with an initial egg-freezing cycle encouraged by her longtime friend Kim Kardashian. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Paris and her husband Carter Reum pursued IVF more aggressively, going through seven egg retrieval cycles which resulted in the creation of 20 embryos—all male.
After the first series of treatments, Paris revealed they did "another round" to try for female embryos, bringing the total to at least eight IVF procedures.
In interviews, she has been open about the emotional and physical challenges of the process. “It’s been tough, but I’m so grateful we have our beautiful children now,” she shared. Paris welcomed two children via surrogacy: a son, Phoenix, in January 2023, and a daughter, London, in November 2023.
Her IVF journey highlights both the commitment and complexity many couples face with assisted reproduction, especially when using embryo selection to plan for gender balance.
