Known for her role in Ranchi Diaries and her appearance on Bigg Boss 16, Soundarya emphasized that casting is becoming more inclusive. “The girl-next-door now has as much space as the superstar,” she noted, adding that digital platforms have created space for newcomers to shine.

She also celebrated the growing space for strong female characters. “Scripts now offer layered roles for women. We're not just accessories to male leads anymore — we’re telling our own stories,” Soundarya stated.

The OTT boom, she believes, played a key role. “Web shows changed the game. They brought freedom to creators and gave actors like me a chance to prove our versatility beyond traditional roles.”

Looking ahead, Soundarya says she’s drawn to projects that challenge norms and spark thought. “We’re entering an era where art meets responsibility. And I’m here for that journey.”
